Biomedical Engineers

Philips Academy provides world-class technical training for biomedical in-house engineering teams. Through three state-of-the-art training facilities located in Singapore, Best (Netherlands), and Cleveland (USA), Philips Academy designs, develops, and delivers technical training globally. All classes, including virtual, focus on real-world system maintenance using live systems and are conducted by industry-leading instructors. Biomeds will attend comprehensive classes that will ensure that they are prepared to safely and effectively maintain their systems and preserve the return on their training investment.

In light of current health and safety concerns, the Cleveland Training Center has implemented safety measures for all visitors. There is a required thermal screening at the main entrance of the building and class occupancies have been decreased to allow for social distancing. Surgical masks are provided daily and required to be worn unless the individual is eating or drinking. Cleaning carts and hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the building and each student receives an individual bottle of hand sanitizer. Enhanced cleaning protocols occur twice a day. We will continue to make any necessary adjustments to ensure the safety of everyone at the Cleveland Training Center.
